Nitrosoglutathione

NO Donor

Nitrosoglutathione (GSNO) serves as an exogenous nitric oxide (NO) donor and a substrate for alcohol dehydrogenase class III isoenzyme in rat models. This compound is known to inhibit cerebrovascular responses mediated by both angiotensin II-dependent and independent AT1 receptors. GSNO is widely used in research to investigate the role of nitric oxide signaling in various biological processes and disease mechanisms.
