Nivalenol-13C15

Caspase Activator

Nivalenol-13C15 is a stable isotope-labeled variant of Nivalenol, specifically designed to study its effects as a caspase activator. This type B trichothecene toxin, produced by Fusarium graminearum, induces apoptosis through caspase-dependent pathways and the intrinsic apoptotic mechanism. Research applications include investigations of immune system responses, assessments of emesis, growth inhibition, reproductive toxicity, and potential haematotoxic and myelotoxic effects.
