NOC-5
NO Donor
NOC-5 is a diazeniumdiolate compound that acts as a nitric oxide (NO) donor. It enhances intracellular levels of X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein (XIAP) and Aven, which may lead to the inhibition of caspase-9 activity by increasing mitochondrial permeability. This reagent is valuable for research applications investigating apoptotic pathways and the regulation of mitochondrial function.
