Norviburtinal, an anticancer agent, exerts non-selective cytotoxic effects while promoting angiogenesis. Exhibiting an IC50 of 3.25 μg/mL against G361 melanoma cells, it also demonstrates effective activity at a concentration of 50 μg/mL in zebrafish embryos. Notably, Norviburtinal facilitates capillary sprout formation in zebrafish subintestinal vessels, making it a valuable tool for research in angiogenesis associated with melanoma, lung cancer, and wound healing.
