NSC 48160
Anticancer Agent
NSC 48160 is an anticancer agent that inhibits the proliferation of pancreatic cancer cells, demonstrating IC50 values of 84.3 μM in CPFAC-1 cells and 94.5 μM in BxPC-3 cells. This compound also induces apoptosis in pancreatic cancer cells, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic agent. Additionally, NSC 48160 shows promise in improving metabolic disorders, including non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), obesity, and lipid metabolism disturbances.
