Ribonuclease H Inhibitor
NSC727447 is a selective inhibitor of ribonuclease H (Rnase H) active against HIV-1 and HIV-2. It exhibits minimal activity against Escherichia coli RNase H and demonstrates significant selectivity for human Rnase H, with IC50 values of 2.0 μM for HIV-1 and 2.5 μM for HIV-2, while showing higher IC50 values against other targets.
