nTRD22

RNA-binding Allosteric Regulator

nTRD22 is an RNA-binding allosteric regulator that targets TDP-43. By binding to the N-terminal domain of TDP-43, nTRD22 modulates the RNA-binding domain, ultimately diminishing its RNA-binding capacity. This compound has been shown to decrease TDP-43 protein levels in primary motor neurons and alleviate motor dysfunction in models of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. nTRD22 is suitable for research focusing on the pathophysiology and therapeutic strategies related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
