AMCase/CHIT1 Inhibitor

OAT-177 is a potent dual inhibitor of acidic mammalian chitinase (AMCase) and chitotriosidase (CHIT1), exhibiting an IC50 of 14.2 nM for human AMCase and 232 nM for human CHIT1. This compound demonstrates significant potential for modulating inflammatory responses, making it an excellent tool for research into chronic inflammatory and fibrotic lung diseases, including asthma and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
