The (+)-form demonstrates exceptionally high binding affinity to 5-HT₆ and 5-HT₇ receptors, with Ki values of 0.41 nM and 0.38 nM, respectively, while the (-)-form shows Ki values of 17.7 nM and 1.3 nM. This compound is valuable in research focused on schizophrenia, exploring its atypical and typical antipsychotic properties.
