OF-02
Ionizable Lipid
OF-02 is an ionizable lipid designed for the effective delivery of mRNA through lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). It exhibits protonation in the acidic endosomal environment, promoting endosomal escape of mRNA and facilitating protein expression in target cells. By leveraging its pH-responsive membrane fusion properties, OF-02 forms a stable complex with mRNA and disrupts the endosomal membrane structure, resulting in the release of mRNA into the cytoplasm. This reagent is particularly applicable in the development of mRNA vaccines, gene editing approaches, and protein replacement therapies.
