OH14

cFLIP Inhibitor/TRAIL Sensitizer

OH14 is a selective inhibitor of cellular FLICE-like inhibitory protein (cFLIP) that enhances the sensitivity of cells to TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL). By specifically binding to the DED1 pocket of cFLIP, OH14 disrupts its interaction with the TRAIL-death-inducing signaling complex, thereby facilitating procaspase-8 activation without affecting its recruitment to FADD. This compound promotes TRAIL-mediated apoptosis and reduces cell viability in breast cancer models. OH14 is applicable in research focused on breast cancer therapeutics.
