Ompenaclid
SLC6A8 Transporter Inhibitor
Ompenaclid is a small-molecule inhibitor of the SLC6A8 transporter. It effectively inhibits creatine uptake both in vitro and in vivo, leading to decreased levels of intracellular phosphocreatine and ATP, thereby promoting tumor apoptosis.
