Ontorpacept
Checkpoint Inhibitor
Ontorpacept (TTI-621) is a soluble fusion protein designed as a CD47-blocking checkpoint inhibitor. It consists of the N-terminal domain (1-118) of human SIRPα linked to the Fc region of human IgG1, effectively inhibiting the CD47-SIRPα interaction that normally prevents macrophage-mediated phagocytosis. This mechanism enhances antitumor activity by promoting the immune system's ability to target and eliminate cancer cells. Ontorpacept is relevant for research applications in cancer immunotherapy and the study of tumor microenvironments.
