Ovatodiolide

Anticancer Agent

Ovatodiolide is a natural compound derived from Anisomeles indica, primarily known for its anticancer activity. It induces cell cycle G2/M arrest and apoptosis through reactive oxygen species (ROS)-dependent ATM/ATR signaling pathways. In addition to its anticancer properties, ovatodiolide also exhibits antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, making it a valuable reagent for various biological research applications, particularly in cancer studies.
