PAR2 Antagonist

P2L-003 is a selective antagonist of the protease-activated receptor 2 (PAR2), exhibiting an IC50 of 0.62 μM in HT-29 cell lines. This compound effectively inhibits PAR2-mediated calcium mobilization while leaving PAR1, PAR4, and ATP-mediated signaling unaffected. Additionally, P2L-003 demonstrates dose-dependent suppression of downstream MAPK signaling pathways, including ERK1/2 and p38 phosphorylation. Its specificity and efficacy make it a valuable tool for research into colon cancer and related biological processes.
