Pabinafusp alfa

Anti-Transferrin Receptor Antibody

Pabinafusp alfa is an anti-transferrin receptor antibody that targets the transferrin receptor and consists of Iduronate 2-sulfatase fused with an anti-human transferrin receptor antibody. This compound demonstrates blood-brain barrier permeability, effectively preventing heparan sulfate deposition within the central nervous system in models of mucopolysaccharidosis II (MPS II). Research indicates that Pabinafusp alfa enhances cognitive function and protects against neuronal damage in murine models, making it a promising candidate for studies related to lysosomal storage disorders and neuroprotection.
