PB2

TCEP Analogue

PB2 is a tris(2-carboxyethyl)phosphine (TCEP) analogue that enhances the survival of retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) following axotomy in vitro at nanomolar and picomolar concentrations. With significantly greater permeability than TCEP, PB2 acts as a potent reducing agent, exhibiting notable neuroprotective effects on RGCs. This compound is of interest in neurological research and potential therapeutic applications aimed at protecting neuronal cells.
