Peanut procyanidin A

A-Type Procyanidin

Peanut procyanidin A is an A-type procyanidin derived from peanut skins, known for its ability to protect prostate DU145 cells from oxidative stress damage induced by H2O2 through the MAPK signaling pathway. This compound alleviates cell cycle arrest and reduces apoptosis in affected cells. Additionally, peanut procyanidin A shows potential in regulating gut microbiota and metabolic functions in murine models of DSS-induced ulcerative colitis, making it a valuable reagent for research in oxidative stress and gastrointestinal health.
