PENAO

Mitochondrial Toxin

PENAO is a potent mitochondrial toxin that specifically targets tumor cell mitochondria by inhibiting inner-membrane adenine nucleotide transferase. This mechanism leads to functional disruption of mitochondrial processes, resulting in cell death in cancer cells. PENAO is utilized in research focused on cancer biology and mitochondrial dysfunction, making it a valuable tool for studying tumor metabolism and potential therapies.
