Peonidin chloride

Anthocyanin Compound

Peonidin chloride is an anthocyanin compound derived from various plant sources, including grapes and purple-fleshed sweet potatoes. This compound has been shown to possess antimutagenic activity in its acylated form, making it valuable for research in cancer biology and inflammation. While Peonidin chloride does not demonstrate stable inhibitory effects on LPS-mediated inflammatory gene expression, its biological activities warrant further investigation for potential therapeutic applications.
