NaCT/SLC13A5 Inhibitor
PF-06761281 is a potent, orally active inhibitor of the sodium-coupled citrate transporter (NaCT or SLC13A5). It exhibits selective inhibitory activity with IC50 values of 0.51 µM against HEKNaCT and higher values of 13.2 µM and 14.1 µM against HEKNaDC1 and HEKNaDC3, respectively. This compound is valuable for research in metabolic disorders and cancer, where modulation of citrate transport can play a critical role in cellular metabolism and energy production.
