PGK1 Inhibitor

PGK1-IN-2 is a PGK1 inhibitor with an IC50 of 8.24 μM, demonstrating potent inhibition of osteosarcoma cell proliferation. By targeting PGK1, this compound disrupts the glycolytic pathway in tumor cells, leading to reduced cell migration and invasion, as well as inducing S phase and G2-M phase cycle arrest. Additionally, PGK1-IN-2 has been shown to induce cuproptosis, contributing to its cytotoxic effects. In vivo studies have revealed significant anti-tumor activity in the MNNG-HOS osteosarcoma xenograft mouse model, making PGK1-IN-2 a valuable tool for research on osteosarcoma.
