Pholedrine hydrochloride

Sympathomimetic Amine

Pholedrine hydrochloride is an indirectly acting sympathomimetic amine that functions primarily as a cardiovascular agent. It exhibits hypertensive and adrenergic effects, making it useful in various research applications. In addition, Pholedrine hydrochloride induces a mydriatic response, facilitating the localization of disruptions within the oculosympathetic pathway. Due to these properties, it is suitable for use as a topical eye drop and serves as a diagnostic agent in Horner's syndrome.
