Phosphoramidon

Metalloprotease Inhibitor

Phosphoramidon is a selective inhibitor of metalloproteases, primarily targeting thermolysin with an IC50 of 0.4 μg/mL. In addition to its activity against thermolysin, Phosphoramidon also inhibits endothelin-converting enzyme (ECE), neutral endopeptidase (NEP), and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), with IC50 values of 3.5 μM, 0.034 μM, and 78 μM, respectively. This compound is widely utilized in research exploring the modulation of proteolytic pathways and their implications in various physiological and pathological processes.
