Phyllanthin
Antioxidant Agent
Phyllanthin primarily targets cancer cell viability and serves as an effective antioxidant agent. It has been shown to inhibit MOLT-4 cell viability while promoting apoptosis, and it also impedes cell migration and invasion. Additionally, Phyllanthin exerts anti-fibrotic effects by down-regulating the TGF signaling pathway through ALK5 and Smad2/3 modulation. Its properties extend to anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activities, making it a valuable reagent in cancer research and related fields.
