PIK-C98

PIK-C98 is a potent and selective inhibitor of phosphoinositide 3-kinases (PI3K), exhibiting IC50 values of 0.59, 1.64, 3.65, and 0.74 μM for the α, β, δ, and γ isoforms, respectively. This compound effectively inhibits all class I PI3Ks while leaving AKT and mTOR activity unaffected. PIK-C98 operates by disrupting the ATP-binding sites of PI3Ks, forming hydrogen bonds and arene-H interactions with target amino acid residues.
