Pinealon

Neuroprotective Agent

Pinealon is a tripeptide that functions primarily as a neuroprotective agent. It exhibits potent properties by preventing the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and inhibiting the activation of ERK 1/2 pathways. Pinealon enhances the functional activity of key cellular components within brain tissue while reducing the incidence of spontaneous cell death. Additionally, it has demonstrated protective effects in rat models against prenatal hyperhomocysteinemia.
