Pipoxolan hydrochloride
Anti-spasmotic Agent
Pipoxolan hydrochloride is an anti-spasmotic agent primarily targeting smooth muscle relaxation. It induces apoptosis and increases intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS), while simultaneously down-regulating the phosphorylation of JNK and p38 pathways, affecting MMP-2 and MMP-9 activity. This compound is effective in alleviating smooth muscle spasms within the digestive, urinary, and gynecological systems.
