PLAGL2 Inhibitor

PLAGL2-IN-1 is a selective inhibitor of pleiomorphic adenoma-like protein 2 (PLAGL2), exhibiting a Kd of 2.23 µM. This compound effectively suppresses PLAGL2 transcriptional activity, leading to G0/G1 cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells. Additionally, PLAGL2-IN-1 disrupts extracellular matrix organization and inhibits the PI3K-AKT pathway by reducing AKT phosphorylation. It demonstrates significant efficacy in inhibiting tumor growth in an HCCLM3 xenograft mouse model, making it a valuable tool for research focused on HCC.
