Plm IV inhibitor
Plm IV Inhibitor-2 is a selective inhibitor of plasmepsin IV (Plm IV), effectively targeting the digestive vacuole of Plasmodium parasites with an IC50 of 24 nM. This compound also demonstrates inhibitory activity against Plm II and I with IC50 values of 70 nM and 0.3 μM, respectively. Plm IV Inhibitor-2 is suitable for research applications focused on malaria and the mechanisms of Plasmodium infection.
