PNR-7-02
Pol η Inhibitor
PNR-7-02 is a selective inhibitor of DNA polymerase η (Pol η), exhibiting an IC50 value near 8 μM through binding to the little finger domain. This compound also inhibits hRev1 and hPol λ, demonstrating a synergistic effect with Cisplatin in inducing cytotoxicity in chronic myeloid leukemia and ovarian cancer cell lines. PNR-7-02, an indole thio-barbituric acid derivative, is characterized by an N-napthoyl moiety and a 5-chloro substituent on the indole ring, making it a valuable tool for research into targeted cancer therapies.
