Poloppin
Polo-Like Kinase Inhibitor
Poloppin is a potent inhibitor of Polo-like kinase (PLK), primarily targeting the Polo-box domain with an IC50 of 26.9 μM and a Kd of 29.5 μM. This compound effectively disrupts protein-protein interactions essential for mitotic progression and selectively induces cell death in KRAS-mutant cancer cells, particularly during mitosis. Poloppin is valuable for research focused on KRAS-mutant tumors, and it can be utilized alone or in combination with c-MET inhibitors to enhance therapeutic efficacy.
