Polypectate sodium

Polygalacturonase Inducer

Polypectate sodium acts as a polygalacturonase inducer by serving as a significant component of cell wall polysaccharides. It is utilized as a carbon source in various biological studies and is instrumental in evaluating alkaline-active and alkaline-stable pectate lyases derived from Streptomyces species. Additionally, polypectate sodium supports the optimization of polygalacturonase production from Xanthophyllum species and aids in the investigation of reaction conditions for enzymatic studies.
