Ponicidin

Ponicidin is a selective RIPK1 binder with an affinity of 135 nM for mouse RIPK1, functioning primarily as an apoptosis inducer and cell growth inhibitor. This compound modulates the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway to promote apoptosis, activates the PI3K/Akt pathway, and enhances SIRT1 expression. Additionally, Ponicidin exerts neuroprotective effects by alleviating oxidative stress, inhibiting inflammatory responses, and blocking necroptosis, while also increasing ROS production for antiproliferative and antiviral activity.
