Povetacicept

BAFF/APRIL Inhibitor

Povetacicept is a dual antagonist of APRIL and BAFF, functioning as an engineered Fc fusion protein that incorporates the TACI domain. With a Kd value of 59.3 pM for human BAFF and 1.00 pM for human APRIL, Povetacicept effectively inhibits B cell activation, proliferation, differentiation, and survival, while also reducing immunoglobulin and autoantibody production. This reagent is suitable for research applications in various autoimmune conditions, including autoimmune hemolytic anemia, immune thrombocytopenia, systemic lupus erythematosus, lupus nephritis, and myasthenia gravis.
