Pro-GA
GGCT Inhibitor
Pro-GA is a selective inhibitor of γ-glutamyl cyclotransferase (GGCT). By inhibiting GGCT activity, Pro-GA disrupts glutathione homeostasis, leading to increased mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and upregulation of cell cycle regulators such as p21, p27, and p16. This compound induces cell cycle arrest and senescence in cancer cells, demonstrating significant anti-tumor effects in breast cancer xenograft models. Pro-GA is suitable for research applications focused on bladder and breast cancer studies.
