proMMP-9 inhibitor-3c
PEX-9 Inhibitor
proMMP-9 inhibitor-3c is a selective inhibitor of the proMMP-9 hemopexin-like domain, exhibiting an affinity of Kd = 320 nM. This compound effectively disrupts MMP-9 homodimerization, hindering the interaction of proMMP-9 with α4β1 integrin and CD44, ultimately leading to dissociation of EGFR. The resulting cascade decreases the phosphorylation activities of Src, focal adhesion kinase (FAK), and paxillin (PAX), making proMMP-9 inhibitor-3c a valuable tool for research in cancer biology and related signaling pathways.
