PUC-10 is a potent antagonist of the 5-HT6 receptor, exhibiting a Ki value of 14.6 nM and an IC50 of 32 nM. Computational studies indicate that PUC-10 is orally bioactive and capable of penetrating the blood-brain barrier. This compound effectively induces autophagy in SH-SY5Y neuronal cells by inhibiting the mTOR signaling pathway.
