Pyrrocidine B

Secondary Metabolite

Pyrrocidine B is a microbial alkaloid identified as a secondary metabolite from the endophytic fungus Neonectria ramulariae Wollenw KS-246. It exhibits notable cytotoxic effects against leukemia cells, with an IC50 value of 4.6 μM for HL60 cell lines. Additionally, Pyrrocidine B displays weak inhibitory activity towards Prolyl oligopeptidase (POP), making it a potential candidate for research in cancer biology and enzymatic regulation studies.
