Quinovic acid

Triterpene

Quinovic acid is a triterpene that primarily targets oxidative stress pathways. It has been shown to reduce Amyloid-β burden and cholesterol accumulation while enhancing p53 expression by upregulating the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway. Additionally, Quinovic acid can induce apoptosis in cancer cells through the upregulation of death receptor 5 (DR5). This versatile compound is applicable in research focusing on cancer, inflammation, metabolic disorders, and neurological diseases, including lung cancer and Alzheimer's disease.
