rac-endo-borneol
Rac-endo-borneol is a bicyclic monoterpene with potential antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory properties. It enhances blood-brain barrier (BBB) permeability by inhibiting efflux transporters and modulating tight junction integrity, thereby facilitating improved drug delivery to the brain. These effects are reversible and transient, and are associated with elevated levels of vasodilatory neurotransmitters.
