Resolvin D1

Endogenous Inflammation Mediator

Resolvin D1 (RvD1) is an endogenous pro-resolving mediator of inflammation derived from omega-3 docosahexaenoic acid, playing a crucial role in the resolution phase of acute inflammation. RvD1 effectively inhibits pro-inflammatory neutrophil migration by regulating actin polymerization, diminishes TNF-α-mediated inflammation in macrophages, and promotes the phagocytosis of apoptotic cells by macrophages. This compound is instrumental in studying inflammation resolution mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions for inflammatory disorders.
