Resolvin D2 n-3 DPA
Specialized Proresolving Mediator
Resolvin D2 n-3 DPA is a specialized proresolving mediator (SPM) that plays a critical role in the resolution of inflammation. At a concentration of 1 nM, it effectively reduces the chemotaxis and adhesion of human neutrophils stimulated by TNF-α. In preclinical models, an intravenous injection of 100 ng/mouse significantly decreases neutrophil infiltration in the peritoneal cavity and lowers the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-6 and chemokine CCL2 in zinc oxide-induced inflammation. This compound is useful for research related to inflammation resolution and immune response modulation.
