Resolvin D4
Proresolving Mediator
Resolvin D4 (RvD4) is a specialized proresolving mediator that plays a critical role in the resolution of inflammation. It promotes the clearance of neutrophils and the restoration of tissue homeostasis in response to bacterial infections, such as those caused by Staphylococcus aureus. As an important research tool, Resolvin D4 is utilized in studies targeting inflammatory pathways and exploring therapeutic strategies for inflammatory diseases.
