Reticulol

Antitumor Agent

Reticulol is an inhibitor of cyclic adenosine 3', 5'-monophosphate phosphodiesterase, demonstrating significant antitumor activity. It effectively inhibits cell growth in murine melanoma and human lung tumor cell lines without inducing cell cycle arrest or apoptosis. Additionally, Reticulol offers protective effects against lung metastasis in B16F10 melanoma by obstructing tumor growth via the bloodstream, making it a valuable reagent for cancer research applications.
