RFamide

RFamide (Arginylphenylalaninamide) is a neuropeptide known for its muscle contraction-inducing properties in gastropods. It exhibits additive effects with acetylcholine and is modulated by 5-hydroxytryptamine. Additionally, RFamide can mobilize intracellular calcium, contributing to sustained muscle tension and offering potential applications in neuromuscular research and studies of muscle physiology.
