LpxD/LpxA Inhibitor
RJPXD33 is a selective inhibitor of LpxD and LpxA, demonstrating IC50 values of 3.5 µM and 19 µM, respectively. This compound effectively inhibits LpxD and LpxA in Escherichia coli, with dissociation constants (Kd) of 6 µM and 20 µM. RJPXD33 serves as a valuable tool for studying lipid A biosynthesis and may be useful in research aimed at developing new antibacterial agents targeting Gram-negative pathogens.
