NSD2 Inhibitor

RK-0080552 is a selective inhibitor of NSD2, with an IC50 of 0.11 μM, demonstrating preferential inhibition over G9a (IC50: 1.2 μM) and minimal activity against SET7/9 (IC50: >50 μM). This compound effectively inhibits the histone methyltransferase activity of NSD2, leading to a reduction in dimethylation of histone H3 lysine 36, suppression of IRF4 transcription, and induction of apoptosis in cancer cells. RK-0080552 has potential applications in cancer research, particularly in studying the growth inhibition of xenograft tumors and enhancing survival in preclinical models of multiple myeloma.
