VPAC2 Receptor Agonist

Ro 25-1553 is an agonist of the vasoactive intestinal peptide type 2 receptor (VPAC2). This 31 amino acid analog demonstrates significant bronchodilator activity, effectively alleviating nerve-induced and Carbachol-induced smooth muscle contraction in tracheal tissues of guinea pigs. Ro 25-1553 is valuable for research applications focused on respiratory physiology and the study of airway reactivity.
