Benzodiazepine Receptor Antagonist
Ro15-4513 is a selective benzodiazepine receptor antagonist, acting as a partial inverse agonist. It exhibits potent antagonistic effects against ethanol, demonstrating significant anti-anxiety properties. Additionally, Ro15-4513 serves as a versatile click chemistry reagent, containing an azide group that enables copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) as well as strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with alkyne-containing molecules.
